Sake

A World of Sake

In a serene Buddhist Temple Garden

A fundraiser for the restoration of Alameda's historic Victorian Buddhist Temple

Please come and sample the authentic flavors of Japan.

Sake is the national drink of Japan and a natural accompaniment to Japanese food.  This event will give you a chance to learn more about sake and to sample some of the many different varieties.    Learn the  basic terminology of  sake and sample the remarkable variety of flavors.

We will also offer a variety of traditional foods that are ideal companions for sake.

To round off the evening we will present performances of traditional Japanese music and dance.
